James Family January 2017 Prayer & Praise
- Pray for ESI (Equipping Servants pastoral training). Two groups with 30 participants started in Montevideo, and they plan to start another one in April. Pray for pastors Jaime and Sebastian from Bogota who plan to start ESI in February. Pray for three pastors in Cajamarca and Tarapoto, Peru who plan to start ESI groups in February. Pray that we will be able to effectively help church leaders around Latin America study, teach and preach God’s Word to disciple believers and mobilize the church to reach the least-reached -- so that no one will live or die without hearing the Good News of Jesus.
- Pray for the 850 active Equipping Servants participants in Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Peru, and for the 1625 total graduates since 2002, that each church/ministry leader will grow in their desire to honor Christ by being true to His Scriptures.
- Pray for God’s supply for the 2000 Pastor Book Sets needed between now and 2020 to open Equipping Servants in 3 new Latin American countries in the next 4 years in our effort to place Pastor Book Sets in the hands of pastors and church leaders around Latin America – training the trainers to effectively use these materials.
- Pray that Equipping Servants participants will grow in their love for Jesus with a growing commitment to live on the basis of Christ’s righteousness in obedience to God’s Word.
- Pray for pastor Tomas Diaz as he works with 5 groups of Equipping Servants pastors in Loja, Ecuador. God is using the study of Romans to impact many lives and churches in southern Ecuador.
- Pray for pastor Edwin Callejas as he works with 4 groups of Equipping Servants pastors in Huánuco, Peru.
- Pray for pastor Pepe Rocha that God will help him in his passion for Christ in his pastoral ministry in the ILC Church in La Paz, Bolivia.
- Pray for pastor Freddy Choque leading 2 Equipping Servants ministry in the city of El Alto, Bolivia.
- Pray for Sami and Heather (children Ethan, Shae) developing a ministry of Biblical counseling in churches in La Paz.
- Pray for Katie working as a nurse at the Cleveland Clinic and serving God where she is.
- Pray for Andrew and Angie (children Nicole, Camille, Zack) as they make new friends and learn the culture of Uruguay that God would allow them to plant a strong church in Montevideo.
