Details: Praise God for the wonderful student leader retreat they just had at the end of May. Pray for Blake and Emily as they will be in Houston for the majority of the summer continuing to engage international students with the gospel, and disciple the believers. Praise God for Yao, a student from Taiwan who just placed his trust in Jesus. Pray that this summer he would continue to grow through discipleship and fellowship with other believers. Chongqing Municipality (province of China). Serving as the industrial and trade hub for west and southwest China on the Yangtze River, billions of yuan have flowed up the river to develop the city and municipality on a staggering scale. Chonqing was the planet’s fastest-growing urban area for the first decade of the 21st century; corruption and gangsterism inevitably followed. Pray for this incredible development to be managed with political fairness, financial transparency, environmental responsibility, and for the long-term benefit of the tens of millions in the region.
