Pray that God will use the time to refresh them as well as all the other gospel workers coming together in the Lord. Also pray for their relationships with others, and that this time will also be refreshing for the children. Also the New Year holiday begins on January 28th in this part of East Asia, so please pray for all the brothers and sisters who attend as they return home for the holidays—that they will have opportunities to share Christ and that many will turn to Him. The government is taking a harder line toward any religious expression which it feels may cause social or political instability. Beyond growing government hostility, resurgent Islamism targets evangelicals with intimidation, property destruction and physical violence.
