A Shared Burden
Recently, the pastors and elders felt that it would be beneficial to set aside time to think how we as individuals and as church can be more intentional in our efforts to tell others around us about Jesus. In our LIFE groups we learned together, through Six Steps to Talking About Jesus, a basic apporach to use in speaking to others.
A Useful Course
We were very pleased with the Six Steps course, from the simplicity of the one word steps to the humble way that the material was presented. Each lesson is anchored to the Scriptures and is understated in its delivery. The video interviews that were included were encouraging and helped build confidence that God is pleased to use us in making known the gospel. The most common feedback that we received was that "I wish this were a little bit longer, it has been so good."
A Routine Offering
We will offer this course once or twice during the year. Additionally, there is a follow course called Two Ways To Live that we also offer on an regular basis.
