Get to Know Charles Cano and Jacob Wirka, Parkside’s Student Ministry Pastors If you are a parent of a Parkside student, you will know that last fall we welcomed to our pastoral team two familiar faces, Charles Cano and Jacob Wirka. Last summer, Charles and Jacob completed the Parkside Pastoral Residency, and are now overseeing our student ministries: Charles with high school, and Jacob with middle school. Dealing with Divorce: 2024 Seminar Series

If you are divorced or going through divorce, please join us beginning February 8, 7:00pm-9:00pm in B211 for our six-week seminar series.

Each week will feature a different speaker addressing a divorce-related issue as well as some time for Q & A or discussion.

The group is also open to those who would like to help a friend or family member who is going through divorce.

After completing the series, a previous attendee shared: "Simply having brothers and sisters who have been through this and come out the other side to come along and provide Biblical support is extremely valuable!"

PKS Membership Course - January

The Parkside Membership Course is a three-week series that gives an overview of who we are and what we believe as a church. The course meets on the first three Sundays of each month, except for certain holiday Sundays. The classes do not need to be completed sequentially and you do not need to pre-register to attend. This is a great course for those looking to become members as well as those interested in finding out more about Parkside Church. The next series of classes begins Sunday, January 7th, at 10:30am in Room B208. 

Baptism 101 Course - January

The baptism course usually meets the first two Sundays of most months (except for certain holiday weekends or breaks). The next series of our baptism classes will begin January 7th in Room B208 at 9:00am. The second class will take place on January 14th at the same time and location. You must take the classes in order. There is no need to sign-up in advance or pre-register.

Thanksgiving Box Project 2023

Start Time: Sun 22, Oct. 2023, 8 a.m.
End Time: Sat 18, Nov. 2023, noon

Every fall for the past 37 years, Parkside Church has helped provide complete Thanksgiving dinners to families in the Cleveland area. Boxes filled with non-perishable food and a whole roasting turkey are hand-delivered to those who might otherwise be unable to enjoy the holiday with a traditional meal.

We invite you and your family to join us as we partner with Scranton Road Bible Church to make this Thanksgiving Day brighter for more than 250 families.
